Chamber News by Artis Stoebener, Executive Director The Chamber is delighted to feature another "new" member, C's Salon, owned and operated by Cindy Webb Bald and her husband, Anthony. C's Salon is open Tuesday-Saturday. All the traditional services associated w/great hair from hair styling, perms, color, etc are offered in a lovely, calming spa environment. Always beautifully decorated seasonally, the sage walls offer a great contrast to the black work stations coupled with wonderful aromas. An appointment at C's Salon is always a bit of pampering that all of us not only need, but deserve. C's Salon has recently expanded the staff to include Jenni and Judi. They have that rare ability to create exactly the right look for you. You not only look good as you leave, but it's always a look you can replicate on your own. Even better, their cuts grow out gracefully. Short of having C's Salon do house calls for your hair every morning, nothing could be better. We all love great deals so from 3-6 on Thursdays, Jenni offers "happy hour haircuts" ($3 off) for men & boys. Cindy has the same great products she uses in the salon for sale so replication of that 'salon' look is achievable at home. Her "Chi" products are a vital part of "chic". The retail section is constantly updating and upgrading to offer exactly the right product for your particular type of hair or skin. C's Salon has recently expanded their offerings to include many spa services such as facials, manicures, pedicures. Judi McCloud offers professional waxing services and advanced skin care through facials, chemical peels, and body waxing. Talk about a lunchtime lift. You leave feeling revitalized and looking sensational. This spacious salon is able to offer all these service while allowing for privacy as well. Even C's Salon spacious parking lot is well designed and allows for many clients. Call 632-3922 to set up your appointment. Cindy is a life-long Cameronite, being the daughter of Bill & Pat Webb and mother of Drew Webb and Whitney Calloway. Her husband, Anthony Bald, is their Chamber rep. Clearly the "C" refers to Cindy who has been making folks in the Cameron area look their best for over 25 years. She started at Marlene's' in 1980, worked for Barbara Ausmus @Cut & Curl, then bought O'Hair & Co. at Ocker Insurance. As Ocker's expanded, Cindy relocated to 407 E. 2nd by moving to Scissorhands. She became the owner of the business now known as C's Salon in 2006 and immediately joined the Chamber. Plan to attend the Chamber Lighting Ceremony and Window Walk on Nov. 16th at 6:30. The Holiday Hustle 5k run is 1:50 Nov. 17th and the 21st parade follows at 2:00 from Chestnut to 2nd to Walnut to 3rd & Cedar. Entry forms are available at www.cameronmo.com on the Chamber section. Cameron is truly blessed to have so much effort & support from so many folks. Please continue to patronize all 160+ Chamber businesses that have made a dedicated effort to help Cameron be all it can be. They appreciate your business.
