Who
We Serve
Cameron
Manor serves persons in need of a variety
of
levels of care services. From temporary respite
services
to relieve the primary care giver to long
term
intermediate care. From short term trans-
itional
skilled nursing and rehabilitative services
after
acute hospitalization to skilled hospice.
At
Cameron Manor our team of professional care
givers
focuses on the individuals specific needs
in
developing and implementing a personalized
plan
of care.
It
is our policy to admit and to treat all residents
without
regard to race, color, national origin,
handicap,
sex, age or religion. There is no
distinction
in eligibility for or in the facility.
And
all persons and organizations are advised
to
refer residents for admission to Cameron Manor
without
regard to the aforementioned characteristics
or
distinctions.
What
We Offer
The
focus at Cameron Manor is on rehabilitation and
recuperation.
We strive to help our residents recover
as
much functional ability and independence as possible.
Under
the Medicare A program, our highly trained staff
of
professional care givers provide skilled nursing care
services
for a variety of medical conditions such as
diabetes,
post surgical wound care and IV therapy.
At
the same time our team of therapists provide
intensive
physical, speech and occupational
therapies
to help our patients recover from stroke,
hip
replacement surgery and other debilitating events.
In
addition to the skilled Medicare A services,
traditional
nursing facility care is available for both
short
and long term stays.
Cameron
Manor offers these superior health care
services
in a comfortable setting. With 4 private
and
28 companion rooms, our residents are never
just
a room number.
Television
access is available in all rooms. The
resident
is encouraged to bring personal belongings
when
their stay is expected to be lengthy.
Special
attention is given to the quality of the dining
experience
and family members are always welcome
to
share a meal.
A
wide range of interesting activities is available
and
often special resident requested activities are
planned.
The
facility features a van specially equipped
for
ease of transportation to doctors appoint-
ments
and for excursions.
What
We Charge
Rates
Per Day:
Private
Semi-private
Rates
(per day) include: room and board,
24-hour
nursing care, maid and laundry service,
snacks,
resident activities. Payments are due
first
of the month. 30 - day written notice
given
on any rate adjustment.
Barber
and beauty shop services, medications,
clothes
and oxygen are charged to individual
resident.
(Cost may vary with type of re-
imbursement
program resident is under.)
Refunds
are based on the daily rates less
supplies
and charges used by resident. Day
of
admission - not day of discharge - will be
charged.
A
room reservation charges may apply to
residents
who go to the hospital or leave
for
any reason and with to return to the
same
room.
